It also provides a contact and collision skills coach mentoring service for coaches that want to develop within this area of performance training.

CONSULTANCY

Knowledge, expertise and innovative thinking

GSI Performance can bring their knowledge, expertise and innovative thinking to the fore, by acting as a consultant and/or partner to global sports brands who are looking to develop equipment or methodology within their own technical training or coach education product ranges.

GSI’s current partners include Riddell Sports in the USA, Rhino Rugby and Gilbert Rugby in the UK, and Steeden Rugby League in Australia. GSI also partner the world leading sports surface provider Fieldturf, to continually innovate concepts and processes relating to contact and collision sports on their surfaces.

Within coaching methodology, GSI has partnered with World Rugby and USA Football to further develop the coach education content relating to the tackle area in both sports, and is currently working with World Rugby on the Tackle Intervention Process and Breakdown/Tackle contest area of the game.

Finally, GSI is always looking to partner with like-minded companies who have player welfare and performance at the top of their agenda. In 2021 GSI partnered with ‘Zone 7’, the data driven artificial intelligence system, that enables high levels of athlete performance and availability.
